In December 2021 our proprietary portfolio of PV power plants produced 5.4 GWh of electricity.
On a year-to-date basis, 103.3 GWh of electricity has been produced, compared to 70.0 GWh during the same reporting period last year, an increase of 47.6%. This increase is a result of the expansion of our proprietary portfolio.
The clean electricity generated by our plants in the first six months of 2021 represents an avoidance of 43,864 tonnes of CO2 emissions.
We sold our 65% stake in the 160 MWp Australian Maryvale solar PV project to the global renewable energy group WIRSOL.
On 30 December 2021 we repaid the remaining project financing of our 12.344 MWp Czech portfolio of PV power plants. The financing was provided by Raiffeisen - Leasing, s.r.o. and was originally due on 1 January 2023.
We were the lead investor in Lerta’s Series A equity financing round, investing PLN 8.75 million and increasing our ownership stake from 12% to 24%. The investment is part of a deepening strategic partnership between both companies.
